Terms & Conditions - Budget Decorations Ltd [also referred to below as ‘we’]

• Returns. Renter agrees to return all items on the agreed return date and time in the same condition as received. If the items are not returned on the agreed return date and time, prorated rental fees will accrue. Budget Decorations Ltd’ acceptance of the return of the goods is not a waiver by the company of any claims it may have against renter, including claims for latent damage to the goods.

• Damage/loss. If repairs or replacements are required, renter agrees to pay all labour, material and shipping charges. Renter shall pay Budget Decorations’ Ltd full replacement value to replace any items that are lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair. Any amounts that become due as a result of the above will automatically be deducted from the security deposit if one has been charged. If no security deposit was charged or the security deposit is not enough to cover the loss/damage, the total amount is payable immediately.

• Additional cleaning cost. The renter will be charged the cost of cleaning badly soiled goods, where stains are difficult to remove. It is acknowledged that this is not always possible to establish immediately upon return of goods so this could be a latent charge. The renter will be advised within a reasonable timeframe.

• Access – if for any reason beyond our control we are not able to access the venue to set up at the agreed place & time, we may leave, and any prepaid amounts will be forfeited.

• Responsibility for goods. Upon acceptance by renter of the goods, renter agrees to inspect the goods and report any defects to Budget Decorations Ltd immediately upon receipt of goods. Renter shall hold budget decorations ltd harmless and indemnify budget decorations ltd from all claims, liabilities, damages, costs or losses arising from or related to injury or damage to the goods or to persons or property arising from or related to the use, maintenance, storage or transport of the goods during the period of renter’s responsibility.

• Communication – we will only communicate with the person that hired us regarding the set-up, or one other person nominated by the hirer.

• Assumption of risk. Renter acknowledges there is a risk of losses, injuries or damages arising from or related to the use or transportation of the goods and assumes all risk of such losses, injuries or damages. Renter for itself releases Budget Decorations Ltd from any and all responsibility or liability for such losses, injuries or damages which renter may experience arising from or related to the failure, use, maintenance, storage or transport of the goods.

• Title to goods. The goods are the sole and exclusive property of Budget Decorations Ltd and renter has no right, title or interest therein, except as set forth in this agreement

• Payment. A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure the date and serves as a confirmation of booking, with the balance due upon set up. In addition, an agreed security deposit may be required upon receipt of goods by renter. The security deposit will be returned in full upon return of all goods by the renter in good condition on the agreed return date and time. Full payment needs to be made by the time we set up. If full payment has not been received by the time set up is complete, all goods may be removed from the premises immediately and any amounts prepaid will be forfeited.

• Aggressive/hostile behaviour will not be tolerated – if we feel threatened in any way we may remove all goods immediately and all prepaid amounts will be forfeited

• Layouts. We do not lay out tables and chairs as part of any package, this is the responsibility of the renter. We may however, at our discretion, advise, guide and/or assist.
